Overview

Kairos Minerals Ltd (ASX: KAI) is an Australian mineral exploration company targeting large-scale gold, lithium and rare earth element (REE) discoveries in Western Australia’s premier mining districts including the Pilbara and the Eastern Goldfields. Both these mining districts are underlain by highly-mineralised Archaean geology hosting large mineral systems that often lie beneath shallow cover.

Kairos owns 100% of the 1.4 Moz Mt York Gold Deposit in the Pilbara. It is the largest undeveloped, free-milling gold project in the Pilbara area. The mineralisation that Kairos has defined over 3km sits within a single optimal pit shell called the Main Trend. Kairos’s experienced technical team are extremely confident that the gold deposit, hosted in Archaean Banded Iron Formation (BIF), will grow significantly, now that Kairos has access to an additional 1,500m of well mineralised strike extension of the deposit from our neighbours Pilbara Minerals Ltd.

The Mt York Gold Deposit contains both Indicated (high confidence) and Inferred (lower confidence) mineral resource of 20.25 MT @ 1.06 g/t Au for 690,000 oz Au (Indicated) and 22.83 MT @ 0.95 g/t Au for 697,000 (Inferred) for a total of 43.08 MT @ 1.00 g/t Au for 1,385,000 oz Au.

The Mt York Gold Project is the subject of a scoping study using 2.5, 4.0 and 5.0 Mtpa process rates supported by recent costs of both capital and operating costs by its lead consulting groups, GR Engineering Services and Cube Consulting Pty Ltd.

The project has enormous upside and Kairos's intention is to drive the project's resource base through aggressive resource drilling below and along-strike of the Main Trend mineralisation whilst at the same time reviewing all options to develop the project into a stand alone, robust gold mine.

In the Eastern Goldfields region, Kairos is exploring the Roe Hills Project, located 120km east of Kalgoorlie, which comprises an extensive tenement portfolio that is highly prospective for gold, nickel, cobalt, lithium and REEs. In 2023, Kairos drilled and discovered the Black Cat clay-hosted REE Project which has the potential to be a significant, shallow REE Project close to Lynas's Processing Facility near Kalgoorlie.

Kairos’ exploration strategy is driven by a highly respected, industry-leading technical team focused on achieving significant new mineral discoveries with the potential to generate significant wealth and returns for its shareholders.
