INTRUSIVE-HOSTED GOLD

Kairos’ Pilbara Gold Project is located 120km south-east of Port Hedland in the West Pilbara region of Western Australia.

This area of the Pilbara is receiving growing recognition as one of Australia’s most exciting emerging gold provinces, highlighted by De Grey Mining’s rapidly-emerging high-grade discovery at Hemi, located just 20km north of Kairos’ Kangan Project.

Kairos has long recognised the Pilbara’s exceptional gold prospectivity, and over the past four years has accumulated one of the region’s largest strategic land-holdings for gold exploration.

Kairos is progressing a focused, multi-pronged exploration program across this land-holding, focused on the discovery of new greenfields intrusive-hosted gold discoveries similar to Hemi.

Key initial targets include the Kangan and Skywell prospects – both of which show strong prospectivity for intrusive-related gold, as well as the exciting 8km long Fuego gold-in-soil anomaly and Tierra Prospect (both located within the Croydon Project).

Extensive multi-pronged work programs underway across the Pilbara Gold Project include:

  • Exploration field work programs, including helicopter-supported field work.
  • Geochemistry and geophysical programs across priority intrusive-related gold targets such as Kangan, Skywell and Tierra.
  • Up to 10,000m of RC drilling across the Fuego, Tierra and Mt York Projects.
